David is published by Foundry24, LLC. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time, and you do not need to contact us to do it.
How to delete your account
- Open David and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately — there is no waiting period and no way to undo it. If you cannot sign in, email hello@foundry24.io from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials, including your email address.
- Your journal entries.
- Your devotional plan progress and completed days.
- Your streak history.
- Your preferences — life stage, topics, reminder time, and email consent.
- Your subscription record held by our service.
What is kept
- An anonymous note of the reason given for leaving, if you gave one. It carries no name, email, or account identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
- Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes, such as receipts for payments already made. These are held by our payment providers, not in the app.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play, because we cannot cancel it on your behalf. Cancel it in the store you bought it from, otherwise billing continues. Deleting the account first does not stop the charge.
